A focused introduction to phage genome assembly that takes you through the de novo analysis pathway while supporting a charitable cause.

This two-session mini-course introduces de novo assembly through the study of phage genomes. You will build a clear picture of how sequencing data is examined and assembled into the genome under investigation.
Although phage genomes are the primary focus, the foundational concepts offer a useful starting point for exploring genome assembly in other microorganisms.
